For the most part, the work is done and the transition was a success. We want to thank all of our students, instructors, graduates, and vendors for their understanding and participation during this process.
To introduce our new format and allow prospective students to gauge whether becoming a Certified Wedding Planner is the right career choice, we have developed an online tour of our wedding planning certification course. To take the tour, simply click the image below or visit:

The new website has much better organization than the old one. I especially like that the chapters and attatchments are in alphabetical order and that the assignments tell you which ones are optional.

The online library resources are available through the Attachments tab at the top of each chapter slide. This summer, we will be launching an online community that will also feature the downloadable resource tools and templates. We hope you enjoy the new format!

As a student of the WPI, my experience is wonderful. The new online site is definitely a success. Although I was comfortable with the old one, the new site is much more organized and has much more information.

I have been so very VERY impressed with the information the Wedding Planning Institute (WPI) has provided! After years of doing Event Planning, this course was exactly what helps our team of planners stay on the “cutting edge” of wedding planning. Much of the information issued by the Wedding Planning Institute is applicable and very appropriate to a variety of other special events.
What was very impressive were the helpful responses from staff and instructor alike. In fact, the initial consultation with Kristine before enrolling in WPI, was so enlightening, warm and friendly that I knew this was the training for us!
And, one more thing…the on-line curriculum (we began with the older format and switched to the current) is fantastic and so easy to follow.

I am nearing completion of the certification program and have found the new web site to be very user friendly. I have taken advantage of all of the forms and the glossary provided for use in my new endevor. I would encorage anyone considering this course to do so.

I found the program to be very informative. I enjoyed the curriculm and the assignments, the new layout and features are great. I would suggest this program to anyone looking to grow in the wedding planning industry

I have also found this program to be very informative. I like the new layout, it is very user friendly. I am nearing completion of my course and am looking forward to using all I have learned.

I have been so pleased with the WPI online course. I was sceptical at first. However, as I researched more and more online wedding planning certification programs, I found WPI to be the best so I dove right in! I am so happy to say that I will be done with the program within the next couple of weeks and because of how great this course was, I will be ready COMPLETELY to start up my new business as a wedding professional. So if anybody is feeling wishy-washy about taking this program, don’t! I have experienced it first hand, and believe me, it is definitely worth it!

I am very satisfied with all aspects of the WPI certification program. I have enjoyed the fact that each chapter makes you one step more prepared to start your own business or find an event planner position. I think the new site is well layed out and easy to use which has helped in my success of the program. I should be completely finished in a few weeks and I am very excited to get started in my new endeavors.

I love how easy the site is to use and helpful to the addition to being professionally certified. The classroom course is phenominal and it is a once in a lifetime expirience for me because it allowed me to develop friendships with others who are as passionate as I am with being a planner. Thank you LWPI!

After hearing my teacher talk about the website last semester and all of the new changes, this sounds like an exciting improvement. I really find the attachments at the end of each lesson very helpful. I know that I have had a lot of success with it and I am excited to complete everything and become certified!

I loved doing this online course.It has taken me longer than I expected but that is because the assignments are more detailed.I think this has better prepared me for the future in wedding planning.I truly have learned a lot and the new website is very good.

Does anyone know if the music downloads are still available on the new site? I just need to take the final but, am working to download all of the attachments first. I have looked in Chapter 12 attachments which seems like the most likely place and have not been able to locate them.

I enjoyed the class, online education and the assignments. It all comes together if you are looking to grow in your career as a Wedding Planner.

The website is very helpful when taking this course. It provides you with information as support with the assignments given. I found myself referring back to the website many times as I was working on different projects. I also like the breakdown of the chapter information it is more detailed in describing what is required in the objectives. Overall, nice site…fun course!

This online course has been extremely helpful to me. I have learned so much about the wedding industry and I can not wait to get out there and start getting brides of my own. I feel like after this course, I will be completely prepared to plan a wedding. The improvement you have made on the site are great, very helpful, and I really appreciate this course. Thank you for everyone who has put effort into this. You are helping my dream to be a successful wedding planner come true!!!!!

I’m close to completing my wedding planning certification course and I must say that it has been an enjoyable experience. I am very impressed with the new website and love the assignments at the end of each chapter. The course instruction puts every future wedding planner in a position to be successful.

I’m almost finished with my online wedding planning certification course and I have really enjoyed it. I feel like I have learned so much that I can use to make my wedding planning business successful! The new website is great - I love how they have everything organized for you with all assignments and sample forms attached to it’s respective chapter. The assignments have prepared most of initial business forms and have given me the information that I need to get started.

Overall I have found this program extremely helpful and informative for anyone who wants to begin their own company or strengthen an existing company. I feel it was well rounded and really addressed a lot of things that wedding planners see on a daily basis. After completing all of the coursework I feel I am prepared to take on clients and help bride to bes plan their wedding. Thank you WPI for all your help and for the resources provided!

I am most of the way through the course and haven’t been disappointed. I picked this particular course because it was more thorough than others I researched. I have found the library to be invaluable. My instructor has been very helpful and quick to answer any questions I may have. I am grateful to be able to gain certification at home. I will be proud to be a graduate of WPI.

I have enjoyed taking this course, especially thanks to the online access. I am currently living in Germany because my husband is in the US Army and this allowed me to take the course so when we move back I can start my own business. I feel I will be well prepared from this course and the assignments I had to complete and am glad to be getting my certification. The site was a little confusing to navigate through when it first changed over but once I got it figured out I was pleased with the new set up. Thanks!!

This course has been very enjoyable for me. I’ve always wanted to go back to school, but at the moment, I am living overseas with my husband who is in the Army. Thanks to them, they provided $6000 for spousal education and allowed me to get back in the game. I also liked that the book was included with the course tuition and it was sent expeditiously.
The information in this course is thorough and informative. It is also well organized and I like that it is geared towards starting your business as soon as you are certified (even though I can’t at the moment.)

Aloha, I participated in the first class that WPI has offered in Honolulu, Hi and I was very pleased, I appreciated the wedding planner that was hired locally to teach us, the Hawaii market had its differences, and our instructor was excellent! This course was more intense than I thought it would be and it really made me look at the business side of running my own wedding planning business. I will also be taking the green wedding course to supplement my new wedding planning certificate! Mahalo!
