Kiss Those Cheesy Wedding Videos Goodbye

Our jaw dropped when we first saw this amazing wedding video! It’s more like a music video than a wedding keepsake, which just makes it one of the most awesome things we’ve ever seen. Bridal couples are going all out these days in every step of their wedding planning: save the dates, invitations and now amazing wedding videos like this one are popping up everywhere. We’ll admit that we’ll always have a soft spot for amateur-style movies filled with Uncle Frank getting down on the dance floor and tipsy friends giving maybe-not-so-appropriate advice to the new couple. That doesn’t mean, however, that a couple can’t also have something amazing like this video to remember their special day. It’s easy to see how this video is a very personal representation of the couple. We encourage all of LWPI’s certified wedding and event coordinators to help their couples come up with creative ways to make their day special. With a video like this they’ll be easily reminded of “their style” and, of course, how cute they and their friends looked on the big day!

You have to love how far technology has come and the kind of quality and production the average person can create from a video or picture. There are so many things now that make weddings so great and easy to plan. You can find just about everything online. You can even register for gifts online! Oh, technology, how I love you!

I have been trying to come up with ways for years on how to make my wedding video “watchable” for everyone. I could watch it over and over, from start to finish but I quickly learned my new friends and family, especially the male ones, do not feel the same way.
I would love to make my wedding a “music video”, highlighting the events and memories that mean the most. (And would love to be seen by all.) After seeing this video I will be contacting a company to do some editing!
I will also be recommending this to ALL my brides!

Who doesn’t want to star in an MTV-worthy music video? The shots are great, and I know many people who would enjoy being directed into something catchy and fun at their wedding. Great job!

Very interesting. Definately a talented (and patient) video artist. I am a 25 year veteran of wedding videography and from my experience this is not what couples want in the long run. First of all, the typical wedding day does not have the time or commitment to stage all those shots. Secondly, where’s the emotional and sentimental content? I see no personal memories to cherish, just acted out stuff. There isn’t even a shot of the bride coming down the aisle from the front! It is just another sign of our “right now” society. Who cares about grandma and grandpa anymore, as long as I have a flashy video I can show off to my coworkers.
