I love these ideas! Personalization is what makes weddings unique and I really enjoy seeing the creative ways couples find to incorporate their personalities and vision into their celebration. Another idea that I saw just recently is a thank you post card from the couple’s honeymoon destination placed with each guest’s favor at the wedding reception.

I have a couple of creative ideas that one may do for their wedding thank-you cards.
1.) The Bride and Groom can both write out the words “thank you” in the sand on the beach.
2.) Also, the words “thank you” can be written in a crossword puzzle.
3.) For a more showy thank you card, one may show a picture of a plane with a banner attached to it saying “thank you”

I loved this post… I function by way of creativity most of my day and so the slightest details for me must involve a unique twist! I have seen many party favors to show appreciation for guests but have not come across the ideas above. I love the idea of a simple photo being the “thank you”. Visually, all of these ideas capture the eye and create a sense of sophistication, while sincerely showing a couple’s appreciation. Thank you for the beautiful post!

These are terrific ideas and will surely make any guest feel special for being a part of a once-in-a-lifetime day! Another great idea would be to have the photographer take a photo of every guest/family as they arrive at the ceremony venue. Then when it comes time to send thank you notes, include the picture with the note. If a couple has the funds, it might be a nice idea to frame each picture and mail that as a gift, along with a nice note. Whatever the choice for sending thanks, as long as it’s from the heart, it will be beautiful!

I think photo thank-yous are a great way of adding a personal touch to the traditional thank you note. Here is a link to one of my favorites. I’m not sure how to add a photo, so I hope the link works!

I couldn’t agree more! This is a darling idea and it truly brings the event full circle. I am finishing my studies here at LWPI (have had an exceptional experience!) and I can’t wait to tell the next bride about this idea. The ideas and implementation of that have come out in this course have made me more aware of the small elements of planning an event. Using the photo as a thank you card after the event will just make everyone remember what a good time they had at the wedding. I think it shows that you really do take care of them from beginning to end!

I love the “thank you” from the first image of the couple holding the book. It’s extremely adorable and unique. Saying a special “thank you” is always the best way to show your appreciation. The thought that is put into these different ways of saying “thank you,” really touches the heart of others. For my future design, I will definitely incorporate a beautiful “thank you” ending for each guest to leave with a wonderful feeling of appreciation.

Hi,
To complete assignment 18.6, I would like to share some ideas on Cute Ways to Thank Wedding Guests:
1. Order a personalized chocolate, fortune cookies or candies from the professionals online (www.totallychocolate.com for personalized chocolate gift with message and photo in the packaging/ http://www.Fancyfortunecookies.com for a personalized fortune cookies). These will surely give the person you want to thank a surprise and lasting impression.
2. Thank You Bodies card: The idea is that the couples (with a friend’s help) take pictures of themselves imitating the words “Thank you so much”. This will be a fun way of thanking your guest.
3. Take a photo with you smiling and holding or using the present. Send it along with a thank you note or card. This will certainly create a smile in gift giver’s face when he sees it.
4. Record a thank you video with you holding or using the gift, expressing thanks in your own styles and burn it into a CD for the gift giver. You can include a small act, a song, or a dance. You can make the speech funny, interesting or heart-warming.
5. A digital photo mouse pad with your favourite photo and thank you words will certainly surprise your guest. You may also want to add a poem, a few useful or meaningful quotes for him/her.
I hope this ideas help!

These are really cute a creative ways to say thank you to your guests. My favorite is the bride and groom holding the Scrabble letters. Another comment said, write it in the sand, which I liked as well. Other ideas are taking some of your flowers and spell out thank you, you can also write thank you on a mini chalk board and have the bride and groom hold it up in a picture.

I think that saying “Thank You” in your own fun and unique way really shows your appreciation and creativity to all your guest. It definitely wins over the regular mass produced cards that anyone could buy. So I love these ideas and I think it’s little attentions to details like this that make a wedding stand out. Thanks for posting this.
