Nature Inspired Wedding Board

I enjoy things that are natural and organic. I use very little make up and I try to be as natural as possible. Since I was a little girl, I walked barefoot whenever I could and I love the feeling of grass, sand and sea waves on my feet. Unfortunately, I live in the city, and I can’t walk barefoot very often… I’m inspired by the nature shapes (leafs, flowers, butterflies…), smooth and curvilinear. For example, I really like art nouveau, elegant and fluid.
My favorite time of the day is dusk; I love the orange and red sunset colors in the skyline. The city starts to calm down and it all becomes more peaceful and silent. It’s the time where lights are turned on at home, and the candles are lit…it’s the most romantic moment of the day! And then, at night, you can see the stars, the moon and if you are lucky, the fireflies…
My ideal wedding would be outdoors, surrounded by big trees and grass everywhere. It would look like an enchanted forest, at dusk, with romantic lighting everywhere. I would like to feel like a fairy or nymph in this wonderful environment. My color palette is leaf and sage green and lemon with touches of persimmon and lilac.

I had my wedding outdoors. I highly recommend it! It was a super small scale wedding too, but just the fact that it wasn’t indoors made it feel big! I suppose I’m biased though ’cause I’m definitely an outdoors person… oh, and because it was MY wedding

I planned an engagement party outside in backyard. The natural decor was great. People were realxed and the stuffiness of an indoors gathering was elininated.

I agree these colors and outdoor style is beautiful. I live and plan weddings in Texas and while I wouldn’t have it any other way, the weather doesn’t always allow for a beautiful (green) outdoor wedding. I love the idea of bringing this outdoor “enchanted forest” theme inside a venue for a client who wants that feel but can’t get it naturally because of climate or weather issues. You’ve sparked my imagination!!!

What a creative way to have an outdoor wedding. The dress blends right in with the color scheme of green and your”enchanted forest” theme. This truly gives other Wedding Planners another idea for a bride wanting an outdoor wedding theme. Thanks Debbie

I also love the eco-chic, nature inspired themes. You would love my community on the North coast of California, behind the Redwood Curtain… Humboldt County! It is definitely an inspiring place to host outdoor events! Thanks! Alegria
