FAQs
- Q. How many colleges and universities are you partnered with?
- A. The Wedding Planning Institute is partnered with hundreds of accredited colleges and universities both online and in the classroom. Your course will be offered as part of an online network of over 1800 schools offering WPI courses for wedding industry professionals.
- Q. How much time will I have to develop my course?
- A. Once your course proposal has been accepted, instructors are given 3 to 6 months to submit their preliminary course materials and objectives. Most courses are launched within 12 months of a proposal being accepted.
- Q. How much time do I need to commit to this course?
- A. That depends on your course’s popularity and the number of students. Instructors work part-time from home and set their own online “office hours” to grade assignments and for students to ask questions. Class sizes are limited based on instructor-to-student ratios. When your program is accepted, these specifics will be determined based on the curriculum and learning methods needed to support the course work and students’ learning.
- Q. What type of students will I have?
- A. All students are adult learners and most are familiar with the online learning environment and have taken courses with WPI or one of our accredited educational partners.
- Q.How will I know who is in my class?
- A. You will receive a roster of students who have enrolled in your class along with their contact information.
- 6. Do I need to keep my own grading records?
- We encourage all of our instructors to keep accurate records, however, our system automatically tracks a student’s progress in the learning management system as well as any quizzes, tests, and final GPA.
