We had a chance to catch up with busy student, Elizabeth Padilla, on her way to becoming a Certified Wedding and Event Planner. Ms. Padilla is a student in Wedding and Event Planning.

Elizabeth’s project two (2) was to sell her company’s products and services to a new client. We enjoyed her project and we think you’ll enjoy it too!

What did you find to be the most challenging?

The most challenging part for Project 2 was that it really made me think about the idea of what it means to be an event planner – which is focused all on the client and their needs. It drives me to be as professional as possible.

What was your favorite part?

My favorite part was how to elaborate my own guide to work – basing myself with something important and focusing all of my energy on the necessities of the clients to see their events be imagined.

What was the biggest take-away you learned?

How to teach step-by-step, personalizing the guides and questionnaires for the events of each client, but being able to concoct the visualization of the event and of every offer and necessity of my client. But also basing myself off of the ideas of the client while incorporating my own ideas.

What advice do you have for anyone planning to start a career in wedding and event planning?

First of all, you need to focus on scholarly education to be able to provide the best professional services to your client. For me, the best option was the school of Lovegevity.

I learned alot – as it is a school that provides all one would need to become an event planner. Lovegevity is a professional school.
